ABOUT US

Frisco Gymnastics Center opened in September of 1996 in a small building off Main Street at the edge of downtown Frisco that once was an auto repair shop.  The two years that we were there our students had to suffer the smells of an oily garage and endure the hot summers as there was no air conditioning.  Fortunately, we grew out of that location and moved to our current site on Meadow Hill Drive in March of 1998.  We added our cheer program a year later.

The owners, brothers Steve and Ken Fleming, also own Dallas School of Gymnastics, Group Dynamix (a teambuilding center in Carrollton) and CrossLink Group (a consulting firm specializing in organizational development services).  Steve was the gymnast of the Fleming family and he began coaching in the late 70s in Colorado Springs, eventually opening his own gym, Dallas School of Gymnastics, in 1986.  Ken joined him in 1989 when they opened the Dallas Fun & Fitness Center which they later sold in 1998.  Steve and his wife Sharon have four children named Zack, Alexis, Stephanie and Holly.  Ken and his wife Peggy have a son Kevin and daughter Katie.  Thank you Frisco for your patronage and support over the years.  We look forward to serving you in the years ahead.
